WELCOME TO THE HONEY CREEK SERVICE UNIT
Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas
Serving girls in Comal ISD: from Timberwood Park to Bulverde/Spring Branch to Canyon Lake
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place, and on Monday, September 16 from 6-8 PM, the Girl Scouts of the Honey Creek Service Unit area (Canyon Lake, Spring Branch, and Bulverde) will be hosting a free rally at the GVTC auditorium
Also Sept 11th, 6:30 - 8pm at Indian Springs Elementary
The rally’s primary focus will be on building area Troops. Troops offers girls an opportunity to work with the same group of girls in their own grade level, usually over a span of nine to twelve months, in partnership with two or more appointed adult advisors. Girls may join at any time during the membership year.
The Troop meets for the enjoyment and benefit of the girls and meetings are built around the girls' ideas. Girl planning, in partnership with adult volunteers, helps to develop a team relationship, making space for the development of leadership skills, and allowing girls to benefit from the guidance, mentoring, and coaching of caring adults.
